So others may live — serving the public 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year.
“Anyone can have a friend, but the one that would walk in a storm to find you is all you will ever need.”
― Shannon L. Alder
Fremont County Search and Rescue, operating under the authority of the Fremont County Sheriff’s Office, is dedicated to aiding, rescuing, or recovering individuals who are lost, stranded, distressed, or in immediate danger. As a non-profit, all-volunteer organization, FCSAR relies solely on unpaid volunteers who are on call around the clock, every day of the year.
While FCSAR does not charge for its life-saving services, it depends heavily on fundraisers, grants, and individual donations to sustain operations. Contributions help cover essential costs such as equipment maintenance, training, medical supplies, and technical gear. Donations are tax-deductible and make a critical difference in supporting this vital work.
